Dr. Nikki Wills

Dr. Nikki Wills received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. In 2012, she completed training in small animal acupuncture at the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL. Dr Nikki joined our team in 2005. Dr. Nikki grew up in Amherst, WI. A love of horses and all animals was the motivation behind pursuing a career as a veterinarian. After veterinary school, Dr. Nikki moved back to Amherst where she currently lives with her husband, horses, cats, cockatoo and some chickens.


Dr. Allison Wild

Dr. Allison Wild joins our practice from Danville, Pennsylvania. She graduated from University of Wisconsin – Madison, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and then went on to complete an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at The Ohio State University. She has practiced in several states, including Texas, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Dr. Wild has a strong interest in Feline Medicine and has been a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners for several years. Other veterinary interests include teeth cleaning, surgery and emergency vet care. Dr. Wild lives with her husband, two daughters and four cats. In addition to spending time with her family, she also enjoys running and participating in other outdoor activities.


Dr. Bethany Miller

Dr. Bethany has been with our team at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care since May 2020. Originally from Athens Wisconsin, Dr. Bethany completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (minoring in Animal Science and Chemistry), at UW River Falls in 2015 and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in May of 2019. She is particularly interested in preventative medicine, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and surgery.  Dr. Bethany’s family includes a devoted husband, beautiful son, stepdaughter, and a tabby named Gibbs. She enjoys being outside, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.


Dr. Rachel McNally

Dr. Rachel joined the Kronenwetter Veterinary Care team in August, 2022. She grew up right here in Kronenwetter, Wisconsin. In 2016, she received her Master’s in Comparative Biomedical Sciences before going on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before coming to Kronenwetter, Dr. Rachel worked at a small animal private practice near Cincinnati, OH. Outside of work, Dr. Rachel enjoys playing frisbee with her dog, Neeko, as well as hiking, running, and gardening.


Dr. Stephen Houk

Dr. Stephen Joined the Kronenwetter Veterinary Care team in August, 2020. He grew up in southeastern Wisconsin and received his DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Prior to graduating, he completed multiple exotic animal externships in locations such as the Florida Keys, Virginia, Tennessee, and Chicago. After working at a small clinic near his hometown for four years, Dr. Stephen recently moved to Antigo with his wife, 2 year old son, Irish Wolfhound, English Springer Spaniel, and multiple reptiles. He is looking forward to continuing his veterinary career at Kronenwetter with interests being in surgery and preventative medicine. Interests outside of practicing veterinary medicine include hunting, fishing, watching sci fi movies and spending time with his family.


Dr. Frances Andersen

Dr. Frances Andersen joined Kronenwetter Veterinary Care in August 2023. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin in 2003. Dr. Frances grew up on a hobby farm in Ringle. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. In her free time she likes camping, baking, crafting and working with scouts. Her fur family includes two Brittany dogs, a cat, and a rabbit. Dr. Frances is particularly passionate about veterinary dentistry. Veterinary dentistry addresses oral health concerns including teeth cleaning, extractions, tooth repair and mass removals.


Dr. Amber Greycarek

Dr. Amber Greycarek joined the Kronenwetter team in January 2024. Originally from Wisconsin Rapids, Dr. Greycarek completed a Bachelor of Dairy Science degree minoring in chemistry, at UW River Falls in 2014. She then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019. She is currently working on her Master’s in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine through the Chi University. She is certified in acupuncture, food therapy, and herbal medicine. Prior to working at Kronenwetter, Dr. Greycarek worked at a Wellness and ER hospital in Milwaukee Wisconsin, seeing annual and holistic appointments, as well as emergencies. Outside of work Dr. Greycarek enjoys sending time with her two dogs and two cats. She is involved in a range of dog sports, and also enjoys traveling and photography.

Our Founder

Dr. Chris Bleifuss

Dr. Chris Bleifuss established Kronenwetter Veterinary Care in 1985. He retired in 2022, after a lifetime of dedicated pet care.
