Tara E.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Tara joined the KVC support staff in May of 2014.  She is originally from the Madison area, and has been in the Wausau area since the fall of 2013 when a job opportunity brought the family to Central Wisconsin. Tara and her boyfriend loaded up the house and the “fur babies” for the next chapter of their lives. It was obvious from an early age that Tara would be working with animals in some way, as there wasn’t an animal too small or a fence too high, if she can reach she will pet it. She would bring any animal home if you were not looking.  “But Mom, he/she needs me” was a well heard phrase around the house, and if Tara had her way, they would all be sleeping in her bed. Tara prides herself in treating each animal that walks in the door as if they were her own, she wants them to have the best possible experience.  Tara earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Edgewood College, and later went on to get an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology from Madison College. Tara’s hobbies include spoiling her dog, learning the fine art of crochet, and enjoying the outdoors and small town festivals.
